Flights into Phoenix

The closest economical place to fly into is Phoenix. Remember that it is a two hour drive from Phoenix to Prescott, so book early enough that you will be able to check in comfortably and come to the night-before dinner at seven pm.

For those who do wish to fly into Prescott, America West flies here. The cost is approximately $150/round trip.

Phoenix/Prescott Shuttle--Shuttle "U" Prescott (800) 304-6114

Although some of you will want to rent cars, Ray and Kristine usually take the shuttle between the Phoenix airport and Prescott. It is very nice, easy, and punctual. The best one to take is Shuttle "U" Prescott. Advance reservations are required. The round-trip cost is about $35, and one way is about $22.00 It drops you off at Albertson's Shopping Plaza, which is only a few blocks from the Hassayampa Inn and Hotel St. Michael. You may either walk or take a cab from the plaza, or possibly someone could pick you up.

Transport to and from the Black Farm:

We will be providing transport to and from the Black Farm. It is a scenic hour and a half drive over nine miles of dirt road. The road is somewhat rough, but not too bad. We believe the beauty of the Black Farm will justify the long drive. We are providing transport and hiring drivers so that everyone can feel free to partake of cocktails/alcohol after the wedding service and no one need worry about driving on unfamiliar roads. We are renting several fifteen passenger vans so that everyone will be comfortable and not cramped. No one, of course, is obligated to go in the vans, so let us know if you plan to drive yourself and we will provide directions.
